As a graduation gift to myself, I traveled to Australia and New Zealand with a friend for 2 weeks in June. It was a good excuse to finally use my Canon EOS Rebel Xsi. I also invested in a new lens (55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS telephoto zoom) which turned out really useful for some of the animal shots. Keep in mind that I am a newbie so if you are not, you won’t be wowed by these photos. Still, these were a few of my favorites.
